Important Instructions
  • Before filling up the Online Recruitment Application, the candidates must go through the detailed Advertisement available on the OFDC’s website. Please proceed to fill the online application only if you are satisfied that you possess the minimum Essential Qualifications, age and required experience stipulated for the post in the details of the advertisement. Otherwise, submitted application(s) shall be outrightly rejected.
  • The date for determining the eligibility of age of all the candidates in every respect shall be as on 01.10.2020
  • The applicants are advised to fill in all their particulars in the Online Recruitment Application carefully as submission of wrong information may lead to rejection through computer-based short-listing apart from debarment by OFDC Ltd.
  • The candidates are advised to fill their correct and active e-mail address and mobile number in the online application as any correspondence/intimation will be made by the OFDC Ltd. through e-mail/SMS only. 
  • Please note that one time enrollment (Registration) is required to be made for applying to any one or all the posts advertised.
  • Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
  • The candidates are not required to send the printouts of their online applications to the OFDC Ltd. However, the Application will not be treated as finally submitted unless and until it is available under 'My Applied Jobs' Tab before the closing date and time. Please retain a print out of your finally submitted online application (complete with Payment Details) as a proof of submission of your application to the OFDC Ltd, whenever required.
  • Benefits of reservation to SC/ST/SEBC category will be admissible only when post is reserved for them.
  • Category [General (UR)/SEBC/SC/ST] once filled by candidate in the on-line application form will not be changed and no benefit of other category will be admissible
  • The prescribed Essential Qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for recruitment test.
  • The candidates must upload only relevant documents wherever required in the online application. The uploading of irrelevant/ illegible/ fabricated or password-protected documents may lead to rejection of their application apart from other appropriate action at the discretion of the OFDC Ltd.
  • Candidates in their own interest are advised to apply & submit application promptly and not to wait till the last date/time for applying online. OFDC Ltd shall not be responsible if candidates are not able to submit their applications on account of the last-minute rush.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE APPLICATION
  • Read the Instructions carefully and Proceed accordingly.
  • Before start of filling-up of application through on-line mode, the Candidates should keep ready, the following details/ documents:
    • Valid E-mail ID & Mobile Number.
    • Scanned copy of the recent passport size colour Photograph (not older than 3 months) in JPG/JPEG format (File size between 50 KB to 100 KB). Candidates should ensure that the same photograph is used throughout this recruitment process.
    • Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format (File size between 20 KB to 50 KB).
    • Scanned Copy in PDF format of following certificates and documents as applicable. (File size between 100 KB to 200 KB).
      • Caste Certificate from competent authority: SC/ST/SEBC
      • PwD Certificate from competent authority (If a PWD Candidate))
      • Sports Certificate from competent authority (If Sports Person)
      • Ex-Serviceman Certificate from competent authority (If Ex-Serviceman)
      • Identity Proof (i.e Aadhar, PAN, Driving License, Voter ID and Passport)
      • HSC or Equivalent (10th Std ) Certificate towards proof of your Date of Birth
      • Pass Certificate of +3 examination in Commerce or equivalent examination (If applying for JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT (ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT)/ AUDITOR))
      • Pass Certificate of +3 examination or equivalent examination ( If applying for LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT or EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (JR. STENOGRAPHER) )
      • Certificates in support of relevant Post Qualification Experiences.
  • The filling of online application contains Three parts. First two Parts for Enrollment and Third part is for applying to the post. Please note that completion of part- I and Part-II Enrollment process is only for the purpose of registration of candidates for applying to the posts advertised by the OFDC and to generate user ID and Password for facilitating submission of basic documents. Application to the post advertisement is not complete unless application fee is paid online in Part-III Job Application Stage with payment acknowledgement and generation of duly filled completed application form with Application number and date of Application.
  • Part I Enrollment (Registration) stage
    Candidate will have to fill following basic information and is only for generation of User ID and Password for the login into the Job Application Interface.
    • Name of the Candidate : The Candidate is required to fill his/her full name as in their HSC(10th) Certificate
    • Father's Name : The Candidate is required to fill his/her full Name of his/her Father
    • Category (UR/SC/ST/SEBC/) : If a candidate belongs to SC/ST/SEBC category and to consider his/her candidature in such category, then the candidate need to select the appropriate category from the drop down combo. Transgenders are to be treated as unreserved (UR) category
    • Gender: A candidate is required to specify his/her gender from the drop down combo.
    • Are you a PwD with more than 40% disability: If a candidate is Person with Disability(PwD) having more than 40% disability and has a certificate from the Competent Authority so as to consider his/her candidature under that category for availing benefits as per the Rules of the Government of Odisha in recruitment process, then he/she has to choose ‘Yes’ option. Otherwise candidate is to choose ‘No’ option.
    • Are You a Sports person? In case of Sports person having certificate from competent Authority and is eligible for being appointed under sports person quota as per Rules of the Government of Odisha then Yes option is to be chosen. Otherwise candidate is to choose ‘No’ option
    • Are you an Ex-servicemen? Ex-servicemen candidates having completed more than 6 months period of service having certificate from competent Authority and is eligible for being appointed under Ex-Serviceman quota as per Rules of the Government of Odisha then Yes option is to be chosen
    • Have you worked with OFDC directly or through any Outsourcing agency? Candidates who are working in the OFDC Ltd or who have worked in the OFDC for a continuous period of One Year either under contractual appointment or through outsourced agencies are required to submit the details of their engagement, viz, Name of the Service provider through which they are engaged, Unit of OFDC where they have/had engaged and period of engagement in the OFDC for being considered under the category.
    • Date Of Birth: Date of Birth as entered in the HSC (10th ) Certificate in the Format DD-MM-YYYY is to be entered. Eligibility with regard to Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth mentioned in the HSC (10th) Certificate.
    • Email : Candidates are required to submit their correct and active Email Address which will be verified by the system through OTP. OTP sent to the email ID is to be entered in the appropriate text box within 2 minutes and submit button is to be clicked for verification. Please note that all official communications will be through this Email address only.
    • Mobile No and Alternate Mobile Number: Candidates are required to submit one Mobile Number which will be verified through OTP. OTP sent to the Mobile Number is to be entered in the appropriate text box within 2 minutes and submit button is to be clicked for verification. All official intimation relating to recruitment will be through this Mobile Number. Another alternative mobile number if any may also be submitted.
    • Ability to speak, read and write ODIA & its Qualification: A candidate must able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed the M.E School Examination with Odia as a language subject; or passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects; or passed Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above; or passed a test in Odia in M.E. School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha and must check the ‘Yes’ Check Box in the application form for enrollment.
    • Marital Status: Specify your Marital Status as on qualifying date.
    • Identification Proof Type: Select any Identification Proof Type from the combo box i.e. Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving License or Passport. Please note that the same ID Proof as submitted in this process has to be carried by the candidate for appearing written Test and also practical test.
    • Identification Proof Number: Specify your Aadhar/ PAN/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport Number as per your selection in Identification Proof Type combo box.
    • Communication Address: Enter your Communication Address details. Correspondence, if any, regarding recruitment process will be sent to this Address.
    • Permanent Address: Enter Your Permanent Address details. (If permanent address of a candidate is same as its communication address, then click the check box, else he/she has to fill the details of permanent Address)
    • On clicking the check box for furnishing the required Declaration and clicking the Submit Button on the page a confirmation page showing details of the information as filled will be prompted for confirmation. You are required to check the details in this page. If anything is wrong, you should not confirm submission. If information submitted by a candidate is correct then he/she needs to click to ‘CONFIRM SUBMISSION’ Button upon which User ID will be generated and the user ID and password will be sent by the system to the email address and mobile number of the candidate. Please note that completion of the Part I Enrollment stage is only for generation of the User ID and Password for the Job Application Interface and profile of the candidate is not complete unless all the required documents are uploaded in the Part-II Enrollment Stage by login into the candidate’s interface using User ID and Password sent to the Email ID and Mobile Number.
  • Part-II Enrollment
    The candidate is required to upload scanned copy of the following documents for completion of his/her profile and for being eligible for applying to the job advertised by OFDC Ltd in Part-III Job Application.
    • Scanned photograph should be in JPG format and must be uploaded first on clicking Upload Photo Button in the page. Following should be ensured while uploading the photograph:
      • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
      • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
      • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
      • Allowed Photo Size – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm (preferred)
      • Size of file should be between 50kb to 100 kb. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 100KB.
    • After uploading your photograph then upload your scanned signature in JPG format. Following should be ensured while uploading the photograph:
      • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink/jel pen.
      • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
      • Dimensions of signature -- 3.5 cm x 1.5cm (preferred)
      • The Signature should be saved in Jpg/Jpeg format and the size of file should be between (20KB – 50KB). Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB
      • The signature will be used to put on the Exam Hall attendance sheet and wherever necessary.
      • If the Applicant's signature does not match the signature on the Exam Hall attendance sheet, the applicant will be disqualified.
    • Next upload your other required documents as may be appropriate and the information of which have already been submitted in the Part- I Enrollment Stage and showing in the Part-II Enrollment Page viz. Caste Certificate if belong to SC/ST/SEBC category, Required certificate from competent authority if a candidate belong to PWD, Sports Person, Ex-Serviceman as appropriate and furnished in the Part I Enrollment Stage and photo identity card document in PDF format only. The digital size of PDF file should not exceed 200 KB and must not be less than 100 KB.
    • A Candidate is required to furnish details of HSC or Equivalent (10th Std ) examination viz Board/University , Month of Passing ( Month of Passing is the Month of Declaration of Result as mentioned in your certificate), Year of Passing (Year of Passing is the Year of Declaration of Result as mentioned in your certificate) and require to upload the Certificate in PDF format. The digital size of PDF file should not exceed 200 KB and must not be less than 100 KB.
    • Provision to verify the uploaded files using the VIEW Button against each section is available in the page. Candidate can DELETE if the uploaded file is wrong and can again upload the correct file. Please ensure that you have uploaded all the correct and required documents, photo, signature and certificates.
    • On clicking the check box, a candidate declares with regard to the truthfulness and genuineness of the information furnished by him/her and on clicking the confirm submission of Details Button the enrollment process will be completed. One confirmation mail and SMS will also be forwarded to the candidate’s registered email ID and Mobile Number regarding successful enrollment and intimation of the allotted Enrollment (Registration) Number.
  • Part III Job Application
    • After completion of Part II Enrollment, a candidate can view all current vacancies posted by OFDC Ltd in his/her job application interface by login into the career portal by entering the User ID and Password and can apply to the interested Job by clicking the Apply to the Post Button appeared in the concerned Row of the Section against the post.
    • In this section all the required information for applying to the post will be prefilled from the information submitted by a candidate at the time of enrollment. Only the additional information/ documents with regard to educational and professional Knowledge and experience for the particular post applied for are required to be filled/ uploaded by a candidate.
    • After furnishing the required information and uploading required documents Candidates are required to pay the application fee online, through Credit/Debit Card/Net banking facility of any Bank through the portal. Please note that candidates are required to pay their application fee through online mode only. No cash/Demand Draft/Cheques are to be received.
  • On successful completion of your complete application, an auto-generated email message will be sent on your registered email-id. After applying, candidates are advised to take a printout of their system generated filled in application form with Photograph & Signature and having Application Number, Date and time of Application, Details of Payment made alongwith the declaration.
